The "Global mm-VLBI Array" (GMVA) has been set up by a group of radio observatories interested in performing astronomical VLBI observations at millimeter wavelengths. It is intended that this "network" should perform regular, coordinated global VLBI observations in the 3mm band.

As a successor to the former CMVA (Coordinated Millimeter VLBI Array), the new "Global mm-VLBI Array" offers to the User Community more and larger telescopes, and hence improved sensitivity and better quality in the resulting VLBI images.

More information on the capabilities and the operation of the GMVA can be found in the GMVA web page hosted by MPIfR.

is it possible to add information about Tsys. Which stations need opacity corrections, and which ones not. Effelsberg measure Tsys with a noise-diode, also the VLBA does. So these stations need a opacity correction. Onsala, Yebes, IRAM and KVN provide Tsys, which are already opacity corrected.
